"I dont understand why we just cant get these online or something..." Nessie whined a little, crossing her arms over her chest as she watched her mother, Alice, and Rose parade about in the rather exspensive costume store. She had no idea how it stayed in buisness seeing Halloween only came once a year, and it was indeed only around 20 days away. The shop was empty of course, no doubt Alice had her way with that.
"I dont even want to go..." The girl, with the mind of a ten year old trapped in the body of a seventeen year old complained. Jacob couldnt go, and she didnt want to be at some fancy dress party without him.

"Nessie, Alice, Rose?" Esme walked into the shop...which was empty and tried to find her girls. They were shopping for constumes and Esme actually wanted to be in on such an activity. It sounded fun when Alice described it and she wouldn't bet against Alice. She knew Renesmee was miffed a little about not going to be with Jacob for the event. She was sad, but Esme could probablly make it better by enduring the adventure with her.

Rosalie rolled her eyes, "You are too much like your mother." Rosalie thought to herself as Renesmee complained about shopping. Out loud, she replied, "Where would the fun be in that?" Rosalie would let Alice continue to rebut against Nessie's stubbornness, another trait she received from her parents. Rosalie looked over as she sensed Esme enter. She smiled at Esme; sure, things were a bit tense in the household with Garetth and his newly found presence, but shopping tended to ease Rosalie's annoyance to both of her 'parents'. But Rose still desired to meet up with the carnivore himself, well away from any interruptions this time.
OOC: Sorry for short. A bit museless at the moment.

Alice more or less ran into the store; although she was sure to make her movements human-like, it still seemed as if she was dancing; maybe even hovering. The pixie, not much to anyone’s surprise, had predicted that the shop would be almost-empty. It wasn’t exactly a cheap place, but who was Alice to care about that?
"I don’t understand why we just can’t get these online or something..." Alice cringed at the sound of Renesmee’s words as she swam through the racks. Online shopping! Absolutely not! The very thought was ludicrous, and if Alice had been a mind reader; she would have scowled at Nessie for even thinking such things.
"Where would the fun be in that?" Alice grinned, at least someone understood in this family. The golden hued eyes of the pixie-like vampire flickered to Rosalie for a moment. She was indeed one of the most beautiful people –physically, that is- that Alice had ever laid her eyes on. If she ever had a power, that would have to be it. Although she would never say so out loud, couldn’t go feeding that already-large ego of hers.
"Nessie, Alice, Rose?" Alice, already absorbed in what she was doing; lifted her hand averagely in the air and indicated where she was. Even though she had only gone through two or three racks there had been at least four outfits of ‘Dracula’ that Alice had either giggled or cringed at.
"I don’t even want to go..." The pixie managed an eye roll, at most. She didn’t need Edward’s powers to know that the girl wanted Jake to be there. “Too bad, Bella.” She smiled slightly to herself. The girl had to be just as bad as Bella, if not, worse. Why couldn’t they come across someone who actually liked shopping? Alice didn’t mind too much of course, she loved to shop for her family and have no one complain that they would want to do it. No. Alice just wouldn’t have that.

The small bell on the front door of the costume shop tinkled as the door opened and closed. A petite girl of runway model proportions walked into the door. She smiled at the woman at the counter who was repackaging a pair of opulent jeweled slippers for a harem costume or something and said "Excuse me, I'm looking for a mask." Her voice was deep and milky smooth, inhuman. The small round woman seemed a little shocked, looking over to the group of stunning women already in her shop and then back to the woman who had just come in. She was obviously unused to having so many stunningly beautiful women in her shop at one time. She didn't say anything but motioned to the back wall as she stared at the girl who thanked her and made her way past the racks of costumes to a large wall of feathered and beaded masks.
Jocelyn was beautiful enough the rival even Rosalie. Her features were as fine and delicate as her slim body, a thin slightly upturned nose, her wide set, narrow, intense eyes (which were now a glowing amber with flecks of red, from her more "vegetarian" diet) and her full red lips. She wore her black Burbery trench with her black soft leather gloves and a red knit beret over her dark washed skinny jeans, black ankle boots and drapey designer sweater in a shade of steel gray. Ancel's stylist had done well with her new wardrobe.
She knew the girls were in here. One of the agents had tipped her off that they would be here today. She checked off the list in her head as she walked by. Esme, check. Rosalie, check. Alice, check. Isabella, check. And of course the ever interesting Renesmee, check. She walked to the mask wall and started taking them down one by one, examining them and holding them up to her face to look in the full length mirror to her right. She already had a mask of course. Ancel had put her in direct contact with a costumer in France who had made a beautiful mask and she had been in contact with one of her favorite french couturiers who had designed a dress just for the occasion.

"Isnt this party too adult for me anyways? You know...whine...that bubly stuff..?" Nessie asked as she watched her aunts float around the store, looking at the fine dresses and lavish costumes. Nessie was sure anything that was bought for her would have to be hemmed...alot. And then it wasnt just the dress, it would have to be shoes, a mask, hair ideas, acsessories after. It would be a nightmare.
She didnt -hate- shopping, she just didnt like the idea of being forced to go to some party without Jacob. She had allowed him to become her security blanket, and knowing damned well a party like this would do nothing but make her feel nervouse. She wanted her big puppy there to protect and sooth her, and to make her laugh as well.

Esme’s head snapped in the direction of the opening door. Hadn’t Alice cleared out the store? Once again Esme had the feeling of danger. The girl who walked in was a vampire. Something about her inconspicuousness was suspicious. Esme noticed the girl looking around. Her head would move infinitesimally and her eyes would shift as if she was looking for someone. Esme lowered her head and scooted closer to Alice to speak in her ear. “I thought you were keeping an eye out for some things,” she hissed. “Maybe we should shop online. I hear designer costumes are better when shipped,” she said more loudly.

Jocelyn picked up a black, jeweled cat-like mask and held it up to her face as she listened to Renesmee whine and then as fear crept into the tone of Esme's voice. Of course they were aware she was a vampire, and of course they would know she knew they were a coven. There was no pretending. Well, maybe a little.
She put the mask down and turned around in a one smooth motion to them with a warm kind smile. "I'm sorry. This is terribly rude of me." She said looking down embarrassed. She was across the store, maybe 15 feet away from them but she didn't need to raise her silky voice to be heard. "I saw you come in here from across the street. I couldn't help taking a closer look. You are the Cullen, yes?" She asked sweetly biting her plump lower lip gently. She looked over their faces quickly taking note of each of the dispositions. She tried to decipher any hints of hostility or aggression. She turned her red speckled eyes toward Esme, the matriarch of the family and awaited a response from her respectfully.

Esme glanced at the woman who adressed her as the Cullen she most obviouslly was. She wasn't worried about Alice, but Renesmee being in the vicinity of this unknown vampire unnerved her slightly and she fought back the distinct instinct to usher her girls out in a hurry. "Yes," Esme replied and nodded her head. She held her head high as she walked at human speed towards the crimson eyed vampire woman swiftly. "I am Esme Cullen. Those are two members of my coven. But of course you already knew that." She leveled her gaze with the red eyes that were before her expectantly. Of course the woman already knew who she was, and who they were.
