The rain was fast and hard; it made its own rhythm as it beat against the hard Cullen driveway, against the soft soil of the forest, and against each and every leaf of every pine and birch. The sky wasn’t patchy with clouds; but one smooth dark grey blanket. It was getting dark, the pixie that sat on the –in a word- porch knew this; but who was a vampire to care? After all there was only one type of danger out there for this immortal girl; and that was the world of the supernatural. Not to mention, as of yet; Alice had received no visions that are of any importance.
Despite the time passing; the rain never seemed to falter in its constant rhythm. The golden hued eyes of this pixie could follow every tiny movement of these rain drops; it was as if they weren’t moving as quick as everyone said they were, but slower. There wouldn’t be any peace tonight. Alice lifted a timid fragile-looking hand, it’s skin was almost of granite it’s texture a pale white; the movement in itself appeared to be a movement of expertise dance; making even the most experienced of its genre cry with envy. She sifted her hand through her hair; momentarily covering the even paler parting before it dropped to the side again.
Her voice was like a silver bell’s chime, no, lovelier. It was humming a harmony possibly unknown to man; for it sounded so difference, so –in another word- beautiful. Indeed this creature was alluring. Her face was almost carved into perfection most carefully. It was impossible for any average girl to compete with such a one. Fortunately, Alice was no ordinary girl; in fact, nor’ was her family. But I daresay you already knew that already.
Golden hued eyes flittered to the forest; the rain was causing a mist, but it didn’t fog Alice’s vision. It was green here, one might describe it as too green; but despite Forks’ boring personality, it was actually quite peaceful and beautiful. She didn’t know what some members of her family were doing; and it quite irritated Alice. Because of Renessmee and the wolves; Alice vision was always cloudy, and never clear as it used to be. Of course she had had sometime to get used to this; but it was never easy not being able to deter any vision.
Huffing in disapproval of her own thoughts’ subject, she tried to focus; perhaps all she needed was practice. But her visions could be both searched for, and given to her. So, the given part didn’t need it’s practice; her searching did, but after lousy attempts to glimpse at a wolves’ future; they were to no avail.

Hitting Jasper rapidly the heavy blanket of water rained down from the heavens that were denied to Jasper and his soul. He looked up at the foggy and dark sky. Clouds covered every single inch of the sky. Not even the full moon was visible to his eyes. He just stood there, above the now dead and drained corpse of an American Lynx. Jasper had just hunted it down in the rainy fog just before the rain picked up. He was crouched over the corpse and looking around. No one was around, he was all alone and out of range of anyone. He was done with the Lynx and he stood to his feet. His eyes grew more and more hazel as the gold and green blended in with each other. He had small traces of blood on his lips and chin. He wiped his mouth and chin clean with his arm and gave the dead animal one last glance before taking off up a tree.
He reached the top with ease and landed on top of a thick branch. He looked out into the dark shroud for any trace signs of life. Though he had quite miraculous eyes that could gaze into the distance and see anything he had some trouble finding anything at the moment. Jasper had a very strong sense of smell though. It was what he relied on the most. Jasper had not taken an unnecessary breath in a while. He closed his eyes and slowly inhaled his surroundings. He smelt pine and sage, that was to be expected. He also caught whiff of something else in the distance. He got a tiny hint of it, he would say it was a vanilla smell.
He smiled at the thought of who it could be. He took a longer breath, inhaling anything he could. He took a long while before he caught the scent he was looking for since the day began. His eyes shot open when he fully smelt it. A strawberry milk smell filled his nostrils with a hint of vanilla. It was his lover, his soul mate and his eternal love. Alice Cullen. His beautiful muse and wife. Her hair, so short and spiky and dark, it showed her wild side. Jasper admired that about her. She was so tiny compared to others when they stood side by side. Her body was petite and beautiful. She had that essence about her, it gave off a great alurring feel. He had to be with her when he caught her scent.
He inhaled once more to savor her scent. He thought about her again, her body and her little voice, so sweet and innocent, swam through his head like a flowing river roaming the Earth wildly. The touch of her fingertips on his chest when he held her, the feel of her bare skin touching his, feeling her heavy breathing on him as and after they made love. It was enough to make even the hardest of men become soft. Her scent alone was enough to drive him wild, not to mention her bodily assets. How her tiny legs came up from her gorgeous feet and curved perfectly up her back and to her neck. Her delicate arms that stretched shortly out of her beautiful chest and sprouted tiny fingers.
Jasper loved Alice it was safe to say. He loved every little thing about her. He loved her smell, her face, her voice, her hair, her body, her butt, her legs and feet, and not to mention the noises she made when they made love. Everything and anything she did made Jasper want to love her now and forever. Jasper locked on to where her scent was coming from and he darted like lightening to be near her. He jumped through the trees, landing on the branches, lightly shaking the trunk of the tree as he lifted himself with his feet from tree to tree. He was in such a hurry to reach where Alice was that he harshly stepped on one of the large branches putting down all his weight and the branch snapped loudly and he leapt out from the way of harm and landed softly on the ground and the huge branch came crashing down next to him.
He started running quickly toward Alice. He was the second fastest out of the coven and was a fast runner. He stopped and inhaled once more and her scent was strong and filled his nostrils like a poisonous toxin. He loved it though and it was anything but harming his lungs. He looked into the short distance and saw tiny figure in the rain sitting. He smiled and stepped out of the tree line for the figure to see he had arrived. "Even without you, I know your there." He said quietly only audible to Alice.

It was rather dark now; who knows how long Alice had been sitting on the porch for? But the moon, which was supposed to be full tonight; could not be seen through the thick blanket of cloud. If anything, you could presume it’s location by the dimmest light difference. Otherwise, a girl would be wise not to roam the streets at this time of night. Whether or not this was a small and safe town; Bella had gotten herself into trouble once before.
Alice’s golden hued eyes glowed through the night, their vibrant colour almost giving off a cat-like effect. Her short spiky hair draped on the sides of her face; the brewing wind causing a few stray strands to venture over her glowing eyes. It was then that the wind carried an additional scent to it; something besides the smell of fresh prey that caused the pixie’s venom to flow, besides the musky scent of pine, and the fresh clean texture of recently fallen rain. It was sweet, and yet it had a somewhat savoury texture to it; of course it was little, but it was enough for Alice to identify its owner. Jasper. Alice’s lips curved into a large grin, exposing a set of perfectly straight pearly white teeth.
As if answering her prayers; her golden hued eyes took on an afar look. Zoning out of the present, and examining the future.
Her smile didn’t dissipate, rather, it grew. She heard the loud crack in the distance, and acknowledged as the scent grew thick; still forcing her to want to breathe due to it’s effect. Almost as if he was a drug. But something that was much safer, and not at all harming. Her smile shortened into something sweet; yet still bright, and welcoming.
He stepped out of the tree line where Alice greeted him with a wider grin; his words were something she had not at all predicted. And that was saying something. "Even without you, I know your there." Even though it was no longer beating; her heart still managed to flip in her chest. The sounds of his smooth and deep words managed a silent coursing sensation within Alice. She rose to her feet, too quick for any mortal; the movement, despite its being rushed; was still gape-emitting … from a human, anyway. She danced toward him, her foot steps silent; so fast that she might as well be hovering above the ground. When she was close enough; she wrapped her arms around him in a welcomed embrace; obviously dwarfed further from his size. Her face buried into his chest easily; she felt the heat –if a vampire could feel such- flow through her and couldn’t ignore the strange sensations that hadn’t been ceased; despite how long she had been with him.

Upon seeing her white and glistening teeth glowing in the dark, and her cat-like eyes glowing, he would not have been able to recognize aside from her scent. He stood with his arms wide open waiting for her to run into his loving embrace and warm him. She gracefully, as if dancing, ran into his arms and he lovingly wrapped his muscular arms around her tiny waist and gently squeezed her little body. One of his hands could not help but feel it's way up to her neck and soothingly cross over her cheek before pulling her lips crashing against his in a loving lock of passion and sharing one of their most passionate kisses so far. His little pixie, now in his arms and with him. He could swear right there, that he'd never leave her side again. The rain continued to pour down over them heavily, it soaked into their hair. Jasper let the water bring his hair down over the sides of his face and a few strands of his bangs over his eye. "Oh my darling Alice. I have missed you so." He said once he finally released her lips from his.
He did not wait for her to reply to that declaration. He put both arms around her back pressing her lightly against his chest and he took in deep breaths. He inhaled her sweet scent for a long time, he had told her about how she smelt to him and she understood that he loved it every time he was near her. He kissed the top of her head, letting the moisture in her hair run on his lips and soak his face in the relentless rain that continued to fall. The thick fog continued to build around them until only they were visible to each other. They could cut the fog with a butter knife it was so thick. He continued to hold her in his chest, he buried his face in her neck, trailing kisses and inhaling her scent. Her smell was strongest on her neck, that was where he spent most of his time when he was with her.
Both their clothes soaking wet from the rain, any human would have frozen to death from the coldness, but they were vampires, cold was their usual temperature. Alice's very touch warmed him though, her body gave off a heat, a fire burned inside her little body that yelled to be put out. She had a desire that built up inside her that yearned to be sated. Jasper just enjoyed to revel in her presence for long periods of time. Jasper was vulnerable in this state though, he was completely oblivious to his surroundings and could be surprised by anything at any moment. This was his state of pure bliss that he shared with Alice.

Jasper’s hand that travelled to her neck, and crossed lovingly over her cheek, traced sensations that seemed to tingle afterward. When Jasper crashed his lips to hers, it was as if the rest of the world didn’t matter; as if there was no other world other than him and her. It was something passionate, a question of whether to give or take; and it seemed so short, and yet, it was probably a reasonable amount of time. The rain was soaking through Alice’s clothes; clothes that she would probably never wear again anyway. She was drenched in a matter of seconds; her hair sticking uncomfortably to her face. When their lips parted; Alice rested the side of her face against his smooth fabric concealed chest. "Oh my darling Alice. I have missed you so." His words were smooth and deep, almost portraying the perfect harmony. She could relate, even though it couldn’t have been more than a day; it did seem like years when they were apart, and it was quite difficult. For the both of them, she presumed, not just herself.
She felt Jasper’s grip tighten around her, holding Alice carefully to his chest. She could hear his deep breathing, and hers, a little rugged but slowing carefully; inhaling his intoxicating scent. It was a heavenly smell. The scent of humans could not at all compete with it. They couldn’t even cut close. That was obvious. The pixie’s eye lids concealed her golden hued eyes from the rest of the world; her lips twitching into a subtle smile. It was impossible to deter how long the stood there in each other’s arms, the fog was brewing seemingly quickly; despite the heavy rain that seemed to hold it back, yet with no avail.
Her arms tightened around him, too; and she managed to shuffle closer; somehow. She buried her head into his chest again; inhaling the same unbeatable intoxicating scent. Jasper did, in fact, dwarf the pixie further due to his rather tall height. In fact; mostly everyone seemed to dwarf Alice. She couldn’t even compare herself to Jacob; that was almost betraying a law in itself.
Alice let her arms wrap around his neck; having to go onto the tip of her toes so she didn’t pull his neck down while she did so. Her head was lifted; looking up into his face in one of those gazes that seemed to scream of admiration. Her eyes glittered silently, and her lips still remained in that subtle smile. She waited a moment before speaking. “I love you, you know that right?” She whispered gently; her voice lovelier than a million silver bell’s chimes.

He could have died happy when she was in his arms. Finally, she broke the silence that felt like centuries of isolation. “I love you, you know that right?” She said to him. He could only smile widely. The words meant so much coming from her. Though for one to express his love for their counter part in another with more than words was a great thing. Alice did not need to though, he knew, he felt her love, even when he was not with her. He tightened his grip around her waist and inhaled deeply once more. "I know more than you think my love. I feel the excess love radiating from your gorgeous body. It is intoxicating to me. Mix that in with your scent and I loss all sense of control. That is how you make me feel every time I am with you, and even when I'm away. We are here for eternity and I could not have anyone better than you to spend it with. I love you too my little pixie." He said softly caressing her back and kissing the top of her head.
It was all true, to every last detail. Jasper needed Alice in this life. She was his other half. She was the radiant side that brightened his very existence. Seeing her happy, and feeling her love every moment of every waking day was one of the most astounding feelings he has ever felt before. Try to imagine when they made love how it made Jasper feel. To already love her so much and then to catch the reminisce of her continuously flowing love as they moved together. That was the most exhilarating feeling Jasper has ever felt and would give Alice the world if he could for sharing her passion with him. He knew himself how much he loved her, and he knew more than she did how much she loved him. This truly was a blissful life, that he and Alice shared.
With their love guiding them and their family always there, they had a great life together, but not perfect. There was always something stopping their state of bliss temporarily but it always passed and they always came out stronger than when they went in. That aside, Jasper would never let any harm befall Alice while he still lived. He knew she would give her life for his but he hoped that he would be the one to die if one of them had to. He pushed those thoughts out of his mind, not wanting to spoil the moment they were having. Jasper lovingly placed a single but very passionate and prolonged kiss on Alice's lips. He held the kiss for a long while, to any ordinary person it would seem like they kissed for about an hour. Jasper loved her lips, it was one of the softest parts on her body. Her icy breath and cold lips always brought his to life.
They animated his very core and made him want to act in response. He traced his fingers through her drenched hair as he kissed her for the next hour straight. He could stay in this position for hours, for days, for weeks, for months and even for years with out moving a single inch away from her. He untangled her soaked hair softly as the kiss dragged itself out. It was not intentional for him to prolong the kiss, it was pure passion that overtook Jasper's lips, the passion he had for Alice, the love burning inside of him that would never be put out.

The pixie felt Jasper’s grip tighten further; knowing that if she was human, he would have probably left her with large bruises. He inhaled deeply, his chest heaving with the sudden intake of air; Alice moved with his chest. I love you too my little pixie." It was true, he could actually feel how much she loved him. And she was glad of it. For she couldn’t explain such a feeling; it was close to impossible. But she found it effortless to demonstrate it. His voice was still soothing, and deep; and if she were capable of sleep; the pixie would have. It rung with a light southern accent, and her mind whisked back to the day where they had met for the first time. It was strange, for Alice had had visions of him; but that didn’t conceal the strange sensations that flowed through her when she had seen him in person.
He kissed her wet hair; her drenched wet hair. It was a wonder why Alice wasn’t worrying about her clothes. But it seemed to dissipate; the worry, the confusion, it all flowed away; as if it never had existed. The thought of being apart almost made Alice sick to the stomach. It was too fluent to deny, the still-fiery passion she held for him. Love like this just didn’t exist for any mere mortal. Perhaps it was another mystic way for this sheathed world of impossible creatures. That was the only explanation. One just didn’t feel this way if they were normal. One didn’t feel as if their whole world might shatter without their second half. For that’s what Jasper was to Alice, her second half, her meaning, her purpose. To remember before was to almost imagine an empty world.
Her golden eyes watched him swoop down and plant a gentle and prolonged passionate kiss on her lips. While she was in control for what seemed like seconds, but was probably minutes; she encouraged it lightly, before loosing what ever control she had. It was something that had its depth, something that made Alice crave for more despite herself. Almost to physically explain her want, she launched her small light body toward him slightly. It deepened the kiss on her part; he holding her waist so she was held at the same height as his, her hands sifting through his drenched honey blonde hair almost violently.
When it had finished, Alice rested her fore head against his lightly; breathing in his musky, intoxicating scent. His taste still tingled on her tongue; her shining golden eyes sheathed by her lids. She relished in the silent moment; the only sound around them was the soft thudding and dripping of rain. She couldn’t be surprised that the rain had kept at it’s pace for so long, for the time it had taken felt like minutes. Her fingers played mindlessly with the wet curls at the back of his neck, some of her fingers strayed and traced imaginary patterns.
The rain suddenly fell silent, and the fog was thick around them; almost consuming the oxygen. She hummed quietly, almost sub consciously; a tune that was playing itself around in her head again and again. She wasn’t content with the space that still existed between them; which was pure imagination. It was almost impossible to get any closer. She opened her eyes to see a hand-tousled-haired Jasper and emitted a small giggle before lifting her hands in a movement too graceful to be described; and styled his hair, forgetting momentarily about her own hair. She re-curled his with her fingers, her humming still continuing mindlessly.
If she didn’t have to feed; she would have stayed there forever. And there was no overestimating at this point, perhaps forever was an understatement. It was difficult to deter.

Jasper could only help but to smile at Alice as she placed her sweet and gentlehands up to his head and began to play with his hair. Alice was always one to fashion others and she was always quite belligerent about people and their looks. Alice was not the shallow type though, she just enjoyed dressing people up in nice clothes. She was more so forceful on Jasper himself when they went out together, she chose his entire wardrobe for him, Jasper would wear rags if it were not for Alice, because he did not care what he wore. Jasper slowly raised his hand up over Alice's arms and gently rubbed his hand over her small arms and up to her hair. Jasper ran his fingers through her hair, not fixing it, just messing it up even more. Jasper loved the way she looked when her hair was just all natural.
With his pearly white teeth he stared down at Alice and his smile faded once he heard the simple but alluring melody that she was humming. Her voice was enticing and made a sleepy vampire want to sleep. Her voice, like silver chime bells, the ones they hung in churches at times of weddings. Jasper the remembered one of the weddings that he and Alice had. They only remarried every now and again. They were not over doing it like Emmett and Rosalie did. They married every year after they graduated and were in college for about a year. Jasper did not have a problem with it though, he just thought that maybe they should chill out a little bit. After about a second her sweet sounding voice danced it's way back into his ears and he could have fallen alseep right then and there.
Jasper truly loved Alice and he admired her and everything she did. When she gracefully moved it was like a dance that always caught the eyes of Jasper. Even when she was just simply moving, her motions were that of a ballerina. Alice was just majestic like that. She was beautiful and the most gorgeous little monster in the entire world. He would not cheapen the moment with saying "I love you". They both knew how much they loved each other, they did not have to say it, though they would say it to each other when it felt right. His hands gently ran down her back, smoothing out the tiny little wrinkles in the back of her shirt.
