Now things were going the way Leah had wanted them to go. With Sam he was all careful and silly about pregnancy and crap like that. But her hadn’t imprinted on her and obviously could resist the temptation to screw her. Whether Jerith could resist or not, Leah didn’t know, but she doubted he would be able too.
But Leah still had a bit of common sense and she knew that rushing a relationship would be stupid. Taking it slow generally worked, but were things different with imprinting? Sam and Emily got engaged after about two years or something – Leah couldn’t even remember now. She had Jerith to think about and Sam was the past.
“Mhm.” Leah responded kissing Jerith’s neck and moaning quietly.

Jerith started to stir, tugging the blanket up so that it tucked under his arm. He reached over and let his arm fall back where at had been, wrapped around Leah, laying next to him. He kissed the crook of her neck where it joined her shoulder and paused there, enjoying the scent of her skin.
The entire tower seemed to be a testament to their afternoon's activities; the discarded clothing tossed all over the room, the futon that had somehow gotten overturned, and the bed that had somehow broken and was now flat on the floor.
He turned his head to squint at the clock, nearly six thirty. He would have to get up soon, just long enough to call and check in with the ranger's station. Since he had forgotten to when he had gotten back to the tower, and having them come to check on him right now might cause a few questions.
Just a few more minutes though, then he'd have to get up and retrieve his phone. It was in his jeans, which last he had seen were against the far wall.

Had that all really happened? Leah was starting to wonder if it was all a dream. A good dream, a very good dream. And on her first day. Wow. Jacob would be impressed, and he would find out because that nosy shape-shifter was always poking his thoughts in where they weren’t wanted. She could never keep a secret in this whole damned place.
But as she felt Jerith’s lips on her neck, Leah grinned. That had assured her that it was not a dream and in fact a reality. On her first day meeting a guy she’d gotten into bed with him. Wow. Then she realised that she was totally naked. Leah giggled and looked around the room, not moving at all. It seemed that her bra was nowhere to be found, her ripped jeans were next to the bed. Where was her shirt… and knickers… and what about her socks and shoes…? Oh well, that didn’t really matter now.
Turning around, Leah face Jerith, smiling. “Did we…” She breathed, feeling so happy that she couldn’t even finish the sentence. Seeing his face, smelling the man’s scent… wow it just felt so brilliant. It made her feel glorious. The day just didn’t stop. It was so event filled; nearly crashing into Maya, imprinting on Jerith, now this. Wow.

He kissed her as if to answer her,"Yeah, a couple times." The afternoon had been quite an experience, a new one for him in fact. The sudden shift of her against him had started him to stir, ready to continue. He grinned and kissed her again.
"I have to call the ranger's station and check in...or they might come looking for me. Why don't I make us some dinner?"

Leah grinned and hugged Jerith before nodded. Then she looked across the room, scanning it for all her clothes, She picked up her jeans and pulled them over her bare legs, then she stood up and ran towards where she saw her shirt, which the woman pulled on and buttoned up. Now she had to find her underwear. And shoes. Of god…
“Dinner sounds good… what are we having… hon?” Leah giggled; she liked calling Jerith hon.

Jerith managed to find his boxers, still inside his jeans. He pulled both own and stuck his feet in his moccasins. He was warm enough he didn't need a shirt for now. He stepped out on the porch so and called to check in, which gave Leah some privacy. Not that he had to, but it seemed like the right thing this time. "Unit 140 checking in. Yeah, I got wrapped up in something, forgot to call when I got back in. I understand, I'll try not to let it happen again." He slid the phone back into his jeans and went back inside.
He added a couple logs to the woodstove and lit the propane cook stove. He started a pot of water to boil and then filled a large one to put on top of the woodstove. He heard Leah call him "hon". He liked the sound of that. He stopped to mash the start switch for the generator and heard it crank up down below the tower. The rooms lit up with a few lightbulbs.
"Ramen noodles and hotdogs," he stuck his head inside the door. "Limited to what I can keep on hand out here, sorry."

Leah looked around the room for her underwear and shoes. She managed to find her bra hanging on the end of the bed and her drawers were under the bed. She smiled and pulled her undies on, then pulled her ripped jeans over her legs. She found her shoes and pulled them on her feet before sitting on the bed and breathing in Jerth’s scent. Her extra sensitive senses were running all over the place and making Leah feel hotter than usual. She grinned and looked to Jerith.
“Oh, yeah, that’s fine thanks. Seth sometimes makes me dinner while I’m out and mum’s with whoever… Well, yeah, it’s generally on the lines of that ‘coz he’s not the best of cooks to be honest. It’s pretty much all he can do. Aw, well, I love it anyway.” Leah said, smiling and then standing up to follow Jerith into the kitchen area. She sat down on whatever she could find and started toying with the hole in her new jeans.
She realised that she hadn’t thought of any of the other shifters for a while, and she was only doing it now because she’d brought Seth into the conversation. With a sigh, she pushed back the thoughts of Jacob and Seth peering in later when she went wolf. Hopefully that’d be a while.

Jerith stirred the pot of noodles and then added the hotdogs. He had cut them up so they boiled with the noodles. He kept stealing glances over at Leah, admiring her every curve, the way her hair tossed over her shoulder....
He turned back to his stove and stirred in the spice packets before taking them off and served it out onto plates, bringing one to Leah. He joined her on the old wooden futon

Leah noticed Jerith looking over at her as he cooked and she inhaled the scents of the food. She loved it, the way the spices tingled in the back of her throat, the way the hotdogs seemed to be on the tip of her tongue, and especially she liked Jerith’s scents wandering round the room.
“Thanks you…” She breathed with a smile, taking her plate from Jerith. Then she started to eat and shivered as the tastes hit her sensitive tongue and literally exploded upon her tastebuds.

Jerith just smiled and ate quietly. Every so often his eyes wandered over Leah, stealing glaces at her in the dimly lit cabin. He dished up more for both of them, amazed that she could eat as much as he could. Even more so that he was eatting a second helping, and concidering another.
He mused to himself, that he had used alot of calories over the course of the evening. When they had finished he took the plates and washed them and cleaned up.
Jerith showed Leah to the large metal wash tub that was in the section with the bathroom. One of the rangers had been a woman who insisted that if she was going to have to be here for three months, that she was going to be able to take a bath every so often. The shower was good for a quick scrub, but there was nothing like a hot bath. Her solution had been a large tub from a farm supply store, the kind used for a watering trough. It had tall sides, and was long and deep enough that Jerith could sit down in it with his back against one end and be full submerged to his armpits.
He filled a portion of it with the cold water from the pump, and then the hot water from off the wood stove. The tub was about half full now, and about the right temperature. He smiled at Leah, "I thought you would enjoy a bath."
