After one moves into a new household [by yourself] they should be very tired. That's what Allegra was. The almost 19-year-old lived alone so she could go to school on the La Push Reservation. The formally Las Vegas-native moved away from her past to a new location. She had always been a procrastinator, no matter how hard she attempted to defy it, so her belongings were still packed into the numerous amounts of boxes that rested in her apartment still.
So now, instead of unpacking like she should be doing, she was walking around what she would call the "Main Street of La Push". It was nothing compared to anything in Vegas, but it seemed something that would remind her of her old life. She was a big shopaholic still. She hadn't bought anything yet, but she intended to splurge. Oddly enough, Allegra didn't have a job and she was living on her own, but she had money. Most of it came from her her inheritance money she picked up at her eighteenth birthday party from her previous guardian.
The repetitive clacking of her dance shoes followed her wherever she went. She didn't mind it, it soothed her. Dancing was something she could runaway to if she desired. She intended to stick with ballroom dancing for as long as she possibly could. She hadn't decided where to shop first, or eat first, or do whatever she wanted to (she was new to this 'freedom to do whatever you want' thing), so she sat down at an outdoor booth staring at what she could see of the small town, waiting for someone to pull her from her thoughts.

Staying at home was getting old for Leah Clearwater. She knew she should move out of her mom's place soon, but she'd probably feel lonely, what with Seth being at mom's and probably never visiting his elder sister. And leah didn't have anyone as a... love interest. Just thinking about love made the she-wolf feel like crap. Why hadn't she been good enough for Sam to imprint on!? Why her cousin.
"Stop it, Leah. They're married now, you just have to deal with it. Move on with your life."
Yeah, Leah was talking to herself. Not exactly the most sane and normal thing to do in the middle of a street. But then again, Leah Clearwater and most of the residents of la Push were either insane or abnormal. leah was probably both. No, she was definitely both. Most people would probably call her a nutcase. Yeah... she probably was a real headcase, still yearning for a guy she will never, ever get.
The shape-shifter was so deep in thought, she almost bumped into some blondie. She mumbled a 'sorry' and carried on walking. Although she was a little curious as to who this blond girl was, she didn't stop walking to wherever she was headed to speak to her.

Allegra wasn't paying much attention to where she was walking. She should have, given it was a brand new town she was in. All she knew of this town was where her home was, some stores and how to get to her house. She wasn't really wanting someone to offer to show her around, it was better for her to learn on her own. She probably would say no to the offer, if given the chance.
Allegra stumbled, she didn't fall or anything, but she stumbled from her posture. "It's okay!" she smiled brightly. < Sorry for shortness >[/blockquote]

Turning around, Leah smiled at the girl. She really needed some kind of distraction, and maybe this girl could be it. She didn’t seem to be from around here and Leah hadn’t seen her before, or smelt her either. This girl was giving off a new scent, something very different from the inhabitants of Forks, La Push, Port Angeles and even Seattle. Something very different, but Leah couldn’t quote put her finger on what it was exactly. She presumed it was a large city, but she couldn’t be sure.
“So, you aren’t from around here, are you?” Leah asked, trying to be as friendly as possible. Of course, that isn’t very easy for the generally moody and kinda b*tchy Leah Clearwater. But the wolf-girl was trying to turn over a new leaf, find a new guy to love and get over her ‘tragic’ past that haunted her so badly.[/blockquote]

Allegra looked around at the other people nearby. There seemed to be a bit of a distinction between her and the other "normal" people who resided here. It was as if there was an evident aura and big, flashy orange arrow pointing directly at her with the words "NEW GIRL" written on it. Wasn't that supposed to wait until school started? Allegra wasn't too happy about the move, but she was obligated to move to a different place, to escape her horrid past.
Allegra, zoned off in her thoughts, snapped back to attention as she heard the girl who ran into her talking to her. She chuckled, "That obvious, or is it just that you don't get new people around here?" Allegra seemed to be a positive, peppy person [generally] but she could still deal with negative people fairly well. Though, sometimes, Allegra feigned obvious happiness to cover up her true emotions and whatever she was feeling.

Shaking her head, Leak responded to the new girl, “Well, as you can see, we are all native American type people, you… well aren’t…” Leah wasn’t speaking in her most polite of manners and maybe she was trying a ittle bit to get on this new girl’s nerves. Hell, it wouldn’t be the first enemy she would have made. Not many people liked Leah, probably because of her bad attitude. {OOC: UGH! Short post, sorry!}[/blockquote]

Allegra laughed a sort of high-pitched laugh. It appearantly got on the nerves of her peers in Las Vegas, from what she knew, but it wasn't particularly something she could change about herself. “Yeah. Now that I think of it, I can see that." she smiled brightly. She didn't take Leah's words to heart or anything, they didn't offend her at all.
{Ergh, short post syndrome. Sorry!}

“Right,” Leah nodded and looked down to the floor. What now then? Was there anything else to speak about or should Leah just get on her way back home? No, she desperately needed a distraction and being at home would make a here feel bored and therefore make her think about things even more. She had to do something, maybe something she really couldn’t be bothered to do, to get everything out of her head again. But really, Leah should’ve gotten over the whole Emily and Sam thing by now. It had been… wow, so long ago that Leah could hardly remember Sam and herself being together. Hell, she should have moved on by now. Maybe she was a little scared too; scared of really hurting someone she was with by imprinting on another later. Just like Sam had done to her. See! There you go again Leah. Stop thinking about him! Leah practically shouted at herself mentally before smiling at the new girl again. “So, d’ya want a tour of La Push. After all, I’ve lived here my whole thirty years of life. I guess you could call me some kind of an expert.” That was pretty sad really; living in the same place for thirty years. And with your parents too. Ugh man, Leah needed to find her own place with someone she loved.[/blockquote]

Allegra chuckled and looked around at the buildings. She noticed it was a small town. A very small town compared to Vegas, she wasn't sure how she would be able to handle that. She wasn't bothered by Leah's company, it was quite nice to meet someone you may possibly have a chance to form a friendship already. She thought she would have to wait until classes started, but apparently that wasn't the case here. Must be a really small town...
Allegra turned to look at Leah as she smiled and offered to show her around. She shrugged, "Wow, long time." She chuckled light-heartedly, "But sure!" she smiled. "I'm Allegra, by the way."
< Gah, sorry for short. Brain's not working right now. >
