"No need to be hostil my dear, I was just taking away the distraction between us. Mother will no doubt send a serch party..that is indeed how you Cullens are. Coven true to the very end...but you have nothing to worry about Rosalie..." His tone still carried the sharp mocking edge, but beneth it was a calmness. Like he was completly certain that what he was doing was the right thing. Keeping her away from her prying mother, and allowing her to speak as she wanted. She was the one who followed him.
"I am Garetth.." He wasnt sure if the name would strike a cord with her. He knew the leader of the coven, Carlise. Back when the good Doctor was first changed of course, when he often came to visit in Italy. The better days of course.

Rosalie did not drop the hostility. "How we are? she repeated, "Oh. Well, then do tell me; how are we? I'm simply dying to know. she asked, heavy sarcasm dripping from her voice. She could frankly care less about his opinion, but she did want to know a bit. She folded her arms across her chest. She got used to him calling her 'my girl', 'my dear', etc. It reminded her [slightly] of how things were in the human life and times. Rosalie was losing her interest in this guy. She could easily assume he was obnoxious, and cared nothing for the humans in the area. She internally sighed, Carlisle could probably deal with this better, for Rosalie was losing her bad temper as it was.
His name did not strike any memories for her. Sure, Carlisle did tell each of the Cullens of his past, but he did not bother to specify with names. She did not say 'It's nice to meet you', 'Pleasure', 'Charmed" or anything, for it/she was not. Instead, she just gave him a hard stare in return.

He didnt need to be a mind reader like Edward to be able to tell her mood. She oozed her dislike for him, and this situation. That only made him grin wider. Wrapping his hand around the chain of the swing beside her, he looked around them at the empty park. No doubt a officer would stroll by soon enough, telling them that it closed at sundown and that they should move along. He found it ironic however, that the better things in the human wolrd always seemed to shut down so early.
"I have clearly upset you...how..?" He asked, not really caring that she was upset, but just wonderinf what it was about him that pushed her buttons. She seemed very easily irritated, constatly with a chip upon her shoulder. It amused him. Even with her ever lasting life, that she would seem to..irritable about everything.

Carlisle ran through the forest, on his way to the park where Rosalie was. Esme was worried out of her mind, and she kept on sayign she had a bad feeling something bad was going to happen soon. Alice hadn't seen anythign that would worry any of us, but the futur could be wrong...mother's hearts are never wrong. Carlisle flipped open his phone, and followed the red dot which was Rosalie's color on his family navigator. The only thing Carlisle hoped now was to find Rosalie safe and alive. He feared that Esme was right about somethgin bad happening. He stopped running when he was close to the park and started walkign at a normal human pace. He walked past the playground and his fear increased as he came closer to the red dot. When he was finally there, he closed his phone and put it in his pocket. He looked around and spotted her beautiful blonde hair, shining like the sun under the shade of the trees. He breathed a sigh of relief and walked over to her and stood by her. "Hello," He said when he saw another man there. He recognised the man, and thanked God that he had came before Rosalie could get hurt.

Before Rosalie could respond, even though she didn't plan on it, the scent of her 'father' hit her. Of course. I should have known that Esme would send Carlisle to scope things out. she chuckled lightly and shook her head. When he came into the view of the park, she greeted him at a volume that would simply take over a simple conversation among humans. "Hello, Carlisle,"
{ Gah, sorry for short! -smacks head- Cannot think! }

Garetth smile thinned as he caught the scent of the father rushing in. Why would anyone assume anything was wrong, was quite beyond him. He knew the pixie of a Cullen could see the future, and clearly he had no ill intentions for this family. Just checking up on things of course. Leaning back, he released the swing from his grip and took a step back, grinning the flawless smile that took ages to perfect. "It is good to see you once more....but I must ask..why the haste?" His german accent flowed within his words.

Carlisle's jaw tightened when he saw Garetth, but he smiled a little. He was never one to disrespect anyone no matter how much he disliked them. "Hello Garetth," He greeted him. "I am just doing my job," He answered him. "Rosalie is my daughter, and my responsibility, I will not forgive myself if anythign happens to her." He said simply. "I hope my friend Aro is doing well..? " He asked, not wantign to be rude, and not ask.

Hia aged lips curled at the corners at Carlsiles words. Why was it that everyone thought that the nomadic vampires that held to the true ways were just evil? Certainly he had known many within his time that took the dive into maddness with the new 'gift'. But majority of those who drank human blood, were not the incarnation of evil that so many thought them to be.
Gingerly he moved behind Rosalie, his hands wrapping around the chains to the swing she sat upon, those dark red eyes hidden behind even darker glasses never leaving the leader of the Cullen Coven. "Aro is doing quite well...tourist season and all.." Garetth smirked, and then he gingerly pushed Rosalie upon the swing.

Rosalie sat still in the swing while Carlisle and Garetth exchanged a conversation. Evidently, the two knew each other previously, which Rosalie should have expected but didn't. She chuckled quietly as she saw Carlisle smile at the man. She knew the distinction between his 'actual' smiles and his 'I'm-only-smiling-because-it-is-the-polite-thing-to-do-and-I-probably-actually-hate-you-deep-down-inside' smiles. It was a small distinction, but since she knew him for a while, she could tell which smile was which. Rosalie remained silent for the time being, internally smiling at her father figure's protectiveness towards her. But, being herself, she had to speak up, "I'm fine, Carlisle. Nothing to worry about." she added in a smile. Maybe she wasn't fine, but all she wanted was to be able to do something for herself without any of her family interfering in it. Just a small amount of responsibility, that's all.
Rosalie noticed Garetth's lips curl slightly, and grew questioned. No, she couldn't read thoughts nor people as well as some of her siblings could (Edward, more specifically about thoughts), so she didn't know what was going on inside of Garetth's mind. Rosalie felt his hands wrap around the chains from behind her. She noticed her hands were a bit under his and slid them down further on the chains out of discomfort.
She moved with the swing as Garetth pushed her. Damn, gravity and pendulums. she thought. She didn't particularly want to be on the swing right now and internally swore at her previous idea of sitting on the swing. But, with so many years of practice, she kept a blank look on her face showing no discomfort or anything towards the push.
NOTE: {{ Okay. I am most definately not a big science person, so if that last thought about gravity and pendulums was wrong (and knowing me, it probably is), forgive me because I have absolutely no idea what I am talking about. So if that's not right, replace it with whatever is right. }}

Carlisle nodded at Rosalie's words. He held back a growl when Garetth touched her. It was a good thing Emmett wasn't here. Knowing Emmett, he would have over-reacted and got into a fight with Garetth. "I'm sorry I cannot be there this year," Carlisle said to Garetth. "I'm usually the first one in tourist season, but I happen to be extremely busy this year," He said.

Esme heard the phone go dead on the other line. Who was that? He was rude...which hightened Esme's thoughts of danger. Where was Carlisle... "I'll Call him next. We've got to get to the bottom of this." Esme opened her phone and pressed one, speed dial. THe phone rang. HOpe fully, he would answer and calm her down.

Carlisle felt his phone vibrate and checked the caller. He flipped it open, his eyes still on Rosalie, and snawered. "Esme?" He asked.

Rosalie turned around to see Carlisle's nod. She pushed herself up from the swing and simply stood next to Carlisle. She was getting aggrivated with Garetth and his actions. She remained silent longer, while Carlisle and Garetth shared a conversation. She let her mind wander as to where her conversation with just her and Garetth would have gone if Carlisle hadn't intervened nor if Esme called.
Oh, come on! All this was happening because she grew curious about a nomadic vampire nearby? Rosalie suddenly felt like a toddler again, after they got in trouble and the responsible adults didn't know what to do about it. She let out a exasperated breath as Carlisle answered his phone. She shook her head slightly, letting out a chuckle. Esme really was worried. Perhaps Carlisle could ease her over quickly.

Garetth could taste the static he was cuasing within the air. It was a wonderful thing. No doubt he would return to Italy and tell his friends of the tightness of the Cullens. How they greeted him as foe, and not friend. It never ceased to amaze him. He just wanted to have a nice conversation with the beauty Rosalie. He heard rumors of her apperance, often talked in quiet whispers within the halls of the Italien refuge. Talk did nothing to credit her looks.
He offered a kind smile, reaching out and touching a stray strand of her hair before taking a step back. His smile was nothing but kind, as he gave a small bow at the waist. "I..ment no harm...but it seems that you Cullens think that everyone is out to get you...guilt is it?" His kind smile then turned into a fowl smirk. "I will take my leave of you..."

Rosalie flipped her hair over her shoulder after Garetth caressed a strand of it. She didn't mind it all too much, but the stray had bothered her and she needed to move it. She took note of his kind smile and nodded slightly at his bow. Her look towards him hardened as he spoke. "Guilt?" she repeated, getting more annoyed with this man. She scoffed. "Excuse me?" If Carlisle were not here, she would have snapped. She figured that he would say what he felt was appropriate at this time. If it was up to her, it wouldn't end that well. Rosalie did not like being mocked, teased, nor made fun of, which were basically all things that Garetth had done to her. Though, part of her did want to have a rational, calm conversation with him, but with Carlisle there, the chances seemed very slim.
