"Excuse me for a second," Carlisle said, throwing a glance at Rose that said becareful, before turning and walking a couple of paces away from them to speak quietly with Esme, still keeping an eye on Rosalie.

"Carlisle!" Esme sighed with relief. "Where are you? I just called Rose and some man hung up on me. ON ME! What's going on Carlisle? Are you with Rosalie? Where is Emmett..." She went on in a frantic rush.

Carlisle sighed. "I'm sorry, dear," He said into the phone. "We're at the park. Apparently Garetth - from Italy - decided to pay us a visit, and I'm really not liking how he's treating her. I'm not sure where Emmett is...but I'm sure he won't be happy if he comes." he said.

Esme cussed. "GARRETH?!" So, that was the man who hung up on her. "Tell that ...that...hateful man, that He will never, NEVER hang up on me again. I'm coming down." Esme shut the phone and sped to Seattle.

Carlisle sighed and closed the phone. He walked back to Rosalie and Garetth. He smiled and stood by Rosalie. He would have to stop Esme before she did anythign that would tick Garetth off.

With her enhanced hearing, Rosalie could hear Esme's cries of worry. A sudden twang of guilt struck her as she realized Esme was truly and deeply worried. Maybe it was just her being naive, but Rosalie didn't see why she was. If Rosalie didn't feel like a young, small child before, she did now. Rosalie bit her lip from inside her mouth as she overheard her husband's name. Ooh. He'd rip Garetth limb from limb if he found out. she thought to herself. And it would not end well.
Rosalie couldn't help but roll her eyes at her father's protectiveness. For God's sake, she was FINE! Was that so hard to believe? Appearantly so. So Carlisle agreed that this situation would not end out too well if Emmett came along. Rosalie bit back a chuckle at her mother swearing. She never swore. She soon grew curious as to why both of her "parents" were angry that Garetth was here. She wasn't informed of anything that happened to the coven because of them so she made a mental note to ask about it later. "What?!" Rosalie snapped to attention. "She's coming down? She let out a irritated scoff, "Why don't we just make this a big family reuinion? Let's invite everyone down here!" she exclaimed sarcastically. This was seriously annoying her now.

Carlisle's eyes widened then narrowed. "Very well then," He said. "Would you like me to call Emmett? I'm sure he would over-react more than your mother," He said.

It was then Rosalie's turn to widen her eyes. "No! God. No-no, thank you." she replied frantically. Sure, she loved Emmett, but she knew how protective he could get of her and she didn't want him to freak out about something that was probably no big deal.

Garetth couldnt hold in his bitter laugh as he watched the little fit between the family. They certainly were over protective wernt they? Treating her like she was a porcline doll, and not a vampire. It was very amusing indeed. "I ment not to cause issue...Rosalie and myself were having a simple conversation before the parents decided to intervine. Tell me, just when -is- your curfew..?" Garetth smirked softly, taking a step back and turning around, walking into the black of night.

Pressing “1” on his speed-dial, Emmett started to call his wife. He smiled as he looked down at the new light up mirror he had just bought her. It would fit perfectly on the wall of their room and, if she hung it there, would make a perfect addition to her collection. Although he loved his wife to bits and would throw himself into fire for her, he couldn’t help but admit – only to himself – that she pretty vain, and a little stuck up at times.
Pressing the mobile to his right ear, Emmett started to get impatient. Yes, the phone couldn’t have been ringing for less than two seconds, but Emmett wasn’t one for sitting around and waiting. If she didn’t pick up the first time he called, he’d find her. And when he wanted to find his precious Rose, he found her. Every time.

Rosalie's attention snapped over to Garetth as he let out a laugh. In her humble opinion, he was obviously oblivious to the annoyance he had caused her [and possibly Carlisle and Esme]. But then again, maybe the chaotic scene was intentional, Rosalie would never know. She folded her arms like a stubborn child who was denied access to what they wanted. She couldn't tell nor sense of any danger that the conversation had beheld. [She also made a mental note to ask Edward about Garetth if Carlisle and/or Esme didn't tell her. If he did not know, she could ask him if he would look into their thoughts and tell her what he found out.] But that may have been proof of how naive she was as a vampire. In her opinion, she had grown a lot since becoming an obnoxious newborn or a conceited human, but that apparently wasn't the case. She rolled her eyes as he asked her when her curfew was. She forced herself to not snap at him, no matter how tempting the thought was.
She felt her phone vibrate in her hand where it still was from when Garetth hung up on Esme earlier. A smile spread across her face as she read the caller I.D. Though, she did not want him to intervene on the situation occurring, she was still happy to receive a call from him. She pressed it up to her ear after answering, sitting down on the swing once more, she greeted, forcing her voice to remain calm and casual as she refused to have him worry about her and what was going on at the moment, "Um. Hey babe," She mentally swore at her stumble and hesitation of her small choice of words.

Esme parked across the street from the public place. She could see her husband, and her daughter, and Garreth speaking to each other. Rosalie appeared to have something pressed to her ear, a phone maybe. It took everything in Esme not to run with her top speed to the little ‘party’, instead, she walked with determination. She stopped in front of Carlisle, and next to Rosalie. She’d realized that Rosalie was on the phone with Emmett. Good luck explaining to your husband what you’re doing here, Esme thought. “You,”she almost growled at Garreth. “What are you doing here?”

Carlisle put his hand on Esme's shoulders and pulled her back a little. "Esme," He warned quietly. "Calmly, please," He requested.

Esme took a deep, unnecessary breath. She turned to her husband. “Carlisle,” she said through her teeth. “What. Is. He. Here. For?”

Carlisle sighed. "I don't know dear, but you needn't treat him like that. Besides, I don't want any trouble with Aro," He told her quietly.
